Waiting?

Isaiah 40:31:  But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

If you are certain you’re ready, rest assured, you are not.
For all those out there who are on fire for God and ready to set the world on fire on a bigger platform – be warned. If God hasn’t opened that door, you are not ready.

When you are ready, God will widely swing doors open that neither demons nor man can close. Just because you are well versed in the Word and have a strong anointing does not mean you are ready.  God’s finest apostles and prophets, including Jesus, had to wait for their right time of ministry.

In this season where you’re impatiently waiting, take stock. Seek the face of God to take you into deeper levels of humility, love, endurance, experience, balance, patience and all areas of holiness – become seasoned with salt and full of grace.

It’s the person who is filled with wisdom, patience and understanding of the Word of God that will never deem themselves “ready” – rather they continuously seek the perfect will of Yahweh and are a good steward right where they are. If He hasn’t sent you, He’s protecting you as well as Himself and His Kingdom.

Make sure you are faithful in the small space instead of disregarding it as rubbish by longing for bigger. We must all learn to be responsible where we are currently instead of wasting time wishing for something “better” – be respectful of God and His timing. ~A.V. Wolf

Proverbs 20:23-30: Differing weights are an abomination to the
Lord, and a false scale is not good. Man’s steps are ordained
by the Lord, how then can man understand his way? It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows. A wise king winnows the wicked, and drives the threshing wheel over them. The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the innermost parts of his being. Loyalty and truth preserve the king, and he upholds his throne by righteousness. The glory of young men is their strength, and the honor of old men is their gray hair. Stripes that wound scour away evil, and strokes reach the innermost parts.

Victory

Ephesians 6: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firmly against the schemes of the devil …”

I Corinthians 15:56-58: “The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable (standing), always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord."

Since we (followers of The Way) are seated at the right hand of God in Christ and we walk in accordance to Holy Spirit within, the victory we need already belongs to us! If we who are in Christ are attempting to fight for victory in our situation, we have already lost because we are exhausting our energies fighting a battle that is already won. There is a difference in having to leave where we are to go out to take a territory and simply standing where we are to maintain territory that is already ours. We must learn to stand our ground in Christ against powers and principalities set against us in the attempt to take what belongs to us (previously given by God). It goes back to trying to become something you already are – it’s a lost battle because we’re trying to attain that which we already possess.

No matter how bleak things may appear – stand. Don’t be moved (from your spiritual position) by circumstances (what you see or feel in the natural). Stand your ground through praising Yahweh for the victory He’s already provided. Perception is reality. If you see yourself defeated or having to fight an impossible battle, you’re already defeated. If however, you recognize that the already provided victory is yours, you can rest confidently in Christ being immovable. ~A.V. Wolf

Overcomers

“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).”

The first and most important thing Christ accomplished on the cross is physically demonstrating how pure love is spiritually. Through sacrifice, He overcame a world that we never could. Romans chapter five states, “God demonstrates His own love…” This emphasizes God’s love, not the distorted selfish love of the world. It continues, “…though perhaps for the good of man someone would dare to die.” A friend told me that the only difference between the ungodly and her was that she had been delivered. I reminded her that, in fact, the whole world has been delivered. There is no one that has not been delivered. The difference then is not that she has been delivered but that she has positioned herself through repentance and humility to receive deliverance. The Word states that Christ died “for all.” There are just very few who choose His gift of righteousness and redemption. Most would rather wallow in suffering than actually take the initiative to rise above the rubble of life and seek holiness. Few want to be accountable for their own actions so they reject the King so as to excuse behavior unbecoming God’s Kingdom. In order to receive His gift of overcoming the world and it’s tribulations, and attain His peace and maintain it, mankind is required to do as did Christ – lay down your life for such a friend as He. ~excerpt from Looking for God by A.V. Overcomers, Part II

“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).”

I hear people from all walks of life murmur about how things aren’t what they think they should be and exclaim boisterously, “If things/people were different/better, I would be better/at peace – joyful –but I trust God.” This is a contradiction and double-mindedness %100! There are always going to be tribulations, from the minute to the humongous. We keep ourselves in a pit of self-pity, sorrow, anger, depression, etc. because we’re very busy operating in the flesh all the while saying “I trust God.” Truth be told, we haven’t laid down our life for Christ because a dead man has no worries – he’s dead. We’re still operating in our fleshly, earthly, natural life all the while trying to mingle it with Christ’s life. This equates confusion, chaos and madness every time. It’s like mixing pure water with sludge and wondering why our consumption tastes disgusting and the digestion causes indigestion; or better yet, its likened unto burying a newborn in a coffin with a corpse and wondering why the baby died. If you sincerely and completely trust God, you would stop looking at the natural circumstances and look only unto the heavenly. Be at peace instead of asking for it – He’s already given it. Walk in true faith through total surrender and you’ll experience real peace. Feelings come and go, but God is steadfast. Know that His plan is better than your own and you’ll walk in an overcoming life instead of a defeated existence. Peace and blessings. Selah. ~A.V. Wolf

Understanding Our New Origin

John 2:15: Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Luke 6:27-36: But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you…treat others the same way you want them to treat you…FOR HE HIMSELF IS KIND TO UNGRATEFUL AND EVIL MEN. BE MERCIFUL, JUST AS YOUR FATHER IS MERCIFUL.

We live in troubling times to be sure. Ladies and gentlemen of the Lord our great God, if I may be so bold as to say, it’s way past time to stop straddling that proverbial fence between the flesh and holiness. Either you are of the human race (all subcategories included) or you are of the heavenly race (born of God).

Natural Human Race: born of earthly parents; flawed from conception. Your blood is from Adam - tainted, cursed.     Heavenly Race: re-born in and of Christ (a brand new birth which can only follow death of the first birth); born of heaven which is LIFE. Your blood is from God - pure, holy, spotless. It came from God through Jesus into you

No longer should the body of Christ fight battles of the flesh because they’re always centered around self – the natural man – race, color variation, ethnicity, nationality, politics, denomination, religion, social status, creed, greed, jealousy, and prejudice of every kind. God’s people desperately need to begin to fight the battles of eternal value – Kingdom value – and learn how the King instructs His citizens to fight such battles. We are never – NEVER – to fight against flesh and blood but against powers of darkness (Eph. 6:12). We are never to fight our fellow man (in or out of Christ) so as to gain or retain worldly goods or fleshly status. It is selfishness (pride) and insecurity of the human shell that keep us struggling for human life (which is actually death). No longer should natural birth places (towns, cities, states, countries, continents) divide God's people. Our origin, once in Christ, is altogether other worldly, heavenly - from God's eternal Kingdom.

We quote scriptures all too well about loving those who hurt us, but the moment we are insulted in our fleshly man with sparse information at best, we jump to war be it verbal, attitude or physical weapons. Are we still so blind that we don’t see that Satan uses the flesh to pit God's citizens against one another? Are we so frail a people that we continue to excuse mercilessness, hatred and condemnation and call it godliness? Sounds to me like Hitler and we know where that led. We are lambs at Satan's slaughter.

Mainstream media is filled with propaganda of every kind playing on our emotions (which we allow), hence tail-spinning God's people right along with those remaining in darkness into very ungodly places leading us to forget that we (our spirit) are of Heaven and our mission set before us is not natural but supernatural. Why do we continue to concern ourselves with the flesh in such a fashion? If you’re going to fight for your nationality, fight for the Kingdom of God without hesitation and without allowing the things of the earth to stand in the way. ~A.V. Wolf
